A web AI agent with the full picture
The web app is where your OperatorNest operator is easiest to see in full. You can start a task the same way you would from a chat app, by typing it out, but you also get the complete view: every task in progress, its memory, its approval history, and every receipt, all in one place. It’s the same operator you message from WhatsApp, Slack or email; the web app is simply the channel with the most room to review and organize.
That means the web app is both a place to talk to your operator and a place to look at what it’s doing and has done, which is different from the messaging channels, where you mostly see one conversation at a time.
What it’s like
Starting a task looks like typing a request and watching it move through the same stages every task goes through:
- You type: “Research 3 co-working spaces near downtown for a 10-person offsite, compare price and availability for next month.”
- Your operator shows its plan: checking each space’s site, calling out what’s still missing.
- A result appears with a comparison table, sources for each price, and a note: “Want me to request quotes from all 3?”
- You click approve on the one action that needs it, requesting quotes, and the rest continues without further input.
Uploading a file works the same way: attach a spreadsheet, a PDF or a set of photos to a task, and your operator treats it as part of the request.
Approvals happen right in the task
Anything that sends, pays, books, deletes or publishes on your behalf stops and shows you a clear approval card: what’s about to happen, why, and what was prepared, with a button to approve, edit or hold it. If you don’t respond, nothing is sent or spent. The task pauses there, your operator reminds you once, and everything else it can do without approval keeps moving.
One history, wherever you message from
The web app isn’t a separate assistant from the one you text or email. A task you start on WhatsApp shows up here too, and a task you start here shows up if you follow up from Slack tomorrow. Recurring tasks keep running on their schedule whether or not you have the web app open, and the result is waiting here, and in whichever channel you asked from, when it’s done.
How it works, and what it sees
Your operator only works with what you give it in a task: what you type, paste or upload, plus anything from a channel or source you’ve deliberately connected. The web app is also where those connections and permissions live, so it’s the place to check exactly what your operator can see and do, and to change it.
Setting it up
Getting started takes a minute. Get access, then sign in to the web app. From there you can type your first task directly, or connect a messaging channel like WhatsApp, Slack or email from settings if you’d rather message your operator day to day and use the web app to review its work.
