Find a meeting time across time zones

Find overlapping weekday meeting hours across time zones for a chosen date.

Example: Sam, Priya at Brackenwold Studio, and Alex at Acme Inc: Three time zones, a selected date, a ranked overlap, invite text, and a shareable link are ready on first load.

The date follows the first person’s time zone.

People and time zones

Example ready. Date uses Sam’s time zone; each person’s hours run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Working hours by half hour

A check means that the whole half-hour slot falls inside 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for that person.

How it works

The selected date is interpreted in the first person’s time zone. The grid tests 30-minute instants across that local day.

A slot qualifies when its full 30 minutes fall between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for every person. Results rank by closeness to 1:00 p.m. local time across the group.

Limits

  • Working hours are set to 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. for every person; change the people or date to compare another day.
  • Your browser supplies the time zone data. Recent legal changes may reach browsers at different times.

Common questions

How does the planner handle daylight saving time?
It converts each candidate instant with the browser’s Intl.DateTimeFormat time zone rules for the selected date. Those rules come from the browser’s time zone data.
What counts as working hours?
The example uses 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in every listed person’s local time. The tool ranks half-hour slots only when the full slot fits those hours for everyone.
What does the share link contain?
It stores the date, participant names, and time zone identifiers in the URL query string. Anyone with the link can read those details.
