How it works

Monthly hours are an estimate from the task list, minutes per run and selected recurrence assumption: 52/12 for weekly, 26/12 for every two weeks, and 1 for monthly.

Calendar events use RFC 5545 iCalendar recurrence fields. Sections 3.3.5 and 3.8.5.3 were checked 28 September 2026: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5545#section-3.3.5 and https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5545#section-3.8.5.3.

This result is a schedule and time estimate. The calendar file records events; it does not execute tasks.

Limits

  • The .ics file records calendar events and does not execute tasks. Its recurrence fields follow RFC 5545, section 3.8.5.3, checked 28 September 2026: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5545#section-3.8.5.3.

Common questions

How are monthly hours estimated?
Minutes per run are multiplied by an average monthly run count: weekly uses 52/12, every two weeks uses 26/12, and monthly uses 1. The estimate is rounded to one decimal place.
What does the calendar download contain?
It contains one calendar event per selected task, with a DTSTART, duration, and recurrence rule as defined by RFC 5545, section 3.8.5.3, checked 28 September 2026: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5545#section-3.8.5.3. Check each imported event in your calendar.
Does this planner run or delegate tasks?
No. It estimates time and creates a calendar file. A person still decides what to delegate, approves consequential actions, and provides needed data access. See /features/recurring-tasks, checked 28 September 2026.
